TINKER FIELD HISTORY PLAZA

HZ Construction’s involvement in Tinker Field History Plaza’s creation consisted of creating a replica baseball diamond with granite blocks cemented into the ground, listing 160 baseball Hall of Famers who played there organized by position. It also includes plaques, historical timeline, seats from Tinker Field, and monuments to Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. and Hall of Famer Clark Griffith.

OAK RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION

AMWAY CENTER

HZ Construction's involvement on the Amway Center job included the coordination of minority and women owned business enterprises. The project achieved a national record for public projets with 31 percent MWBE participation. Approximately $90 million in work was contracted to minority and women owned businesses. Work has been steady for HZ Constucition crews since their involvement on the Amway Center job.

“Our name is known throughout the construction community from this project,” said Andy Hill, II president of HZ Construction. “More potential clients are inquireing about our skills and resources as a result of the Amway Center Construction.”
